Frisson Foundation Primary School Glee Challenge (currently underway as the Signing Challenge)

The Primary School Glee Challenge reaches hundreds of schools each year and continues to expand. School Glee Choirs learn skills in singing, dancing, stage craft, discipline and resilience. The Primary School Glee Challenge represents an extraordinary journey and opportunity for school children to participate in the performing arts and showcase their talents to friends, family and peers. Best of all, the Primary School Glee Challenge is free to all schools and participants.

Normally, by participating in the Primary School Glee Challenge your school will be offered:

  • CPD for any staff members involved in your school choir.

  • Choir workshops to support you through the process of forming a Glee choir, rehearsing and preparing for a performance.

  • A performance opportunity beside other local primary schools and an opportunity to compete in a series of heats, regional finals and a national final to become Scottish Glee Champions.

  • Mentoring and guidance from experienced professionals working in the performing arts.

Please note that due to Covid 19 restrictions the Challenge is unable to deliver these aspects. Please see the Signing Challenge for current arrangements.
