Scottish Primary School Glee Challenge 2017
2017 proved to be an extraordinary year for the Challenge, perhaps, establishing it as the largest undertaking of its type in Scotland, if not the whole of the UK. Schools from Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Fife, Perth and Kinross and Stirling took part setting alight some of the largest venues in Scotland with astonishingly talented youngsters. Children from primary 1 to primary 7 performed with confidence and style in front of packed houses that professional stars would have been glad to have had.
The topping on the cake was of course the very first Scottish (national) final, 7 choirs (see pictures below) competed and sang their hearts out in front of a capacity filled Perth Concert Hall - such was the demand for tickets the event was live streamed with just under 2000 people watching.
The choirs were joined by Choral Stimulation and one of our patrons Caitlyn Vanbeck for a truly spectacular Sunday afternoon. The awards on the day went to
