SCOTTISH PRIMARY SCHOOL GLEE CHALLENGE
Welcome to the Glee Challenge 2026
The Glee Challenge events are not your typical school choir performances, carol concerts or large-scale choir gatherings where your child gets lost in the crowd.
We stand out from the rest!
The Glee Challenge stands as one of the most extensive and inclusive school choir programmes out there. With more than 5000 children taking part, our choirs have graced the stages of Scotland's top venues – Usher Hall, Royal Concert Hall, Perth Concert Hall, and Alhambra Theatre – captivating audiences made up of their peers, guardians, and parents.
Our Glee Challenge shows are a one-of-a-kind experience that radiates an unforgettable energy. Parents, guardians, educators, and staff all agree on the remarkable impact that the Challenge has on the children, schools, and the wider school community. In 2026, the Challenge will even reach the Eden Court Theatre, ensuring our programme reaches every corner of Scotland!

What makes it so different?
The formula is simple - it's about the children. It's about songs and music children know, recognise, identify and share with friends and family. It allows children to express themselves and yes, be pop and rock stars for a day. Children are front and foremost in what we do and what we value.
For schools it gathers all the benefits that music brings and more. It truly does make a difference in school and in the lives of the children taking part. The uniqueness of the Challenge also brings the school community together in a way that very few other school initiatives can.
