SCOTTISH PRIMARY SCHOOL GLEE CHALLENGE

Welcome to the Glee Challenge 2027

The Glee Challenge events are not your typical school choir performances, carol concerts or large-scale choir or mass gatherings where your child gets lost in the crowd.

We stand out from the rest!

The Glee Challenge stands as one of the most extensive and inclusive school choir programmes out there. With more than 5700 children taking part in 2026, our choirs have graced the stages of Scotland's top venues – Usher Hall, Royal Concert Hall, Perth Concert Hall, Eden Court Theatre and The Alhambra Theatre – captivating audiences made up of peers, guardians, and parents.

Our Glee Challenge shows are a one-of-a-kind experience that radiates an unforgettable energy.  Parents, guardians, educators, and staff all agree on the remarkable impact that the Challenge has on the children, schools, and the wider school community. In 2027, the Challenge will even reach the Eden Court Theatre, ensuring our programme reaches every corner of Scotland!

2026/27 THEME

Every year we choose a theme that we try to build on throughout the year.

This year's Challenge the celebrates the idea that music can create families.

Every choir, class and school starts as individuals but becomes something bigger through shared experiences, rehearsals, performances and supporting one another.

All families have key members and we envisage that our Glee Singing Ambassadors will help to fulfil these roles.

Further details of the theme, set songs and are available in the members area
